Mira Stupica
Miroslava "Mira" Stupica, born on August 17, 1923, in Gnjilane, which was part of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes, is a distinguished Serbian actress celebrated for her significant contributions to the theatre. Mira's passion for performance ignited during her high school years, leading to her debut on the big screen in the 1951 film "Bakonja fra Brne," directed by Fedor Hanžeković. However, it is her theatrical work that has solidified her legacy, where she not only showcased her remarkable talent but also met her second husband, the esteemed theatre director Bojan Stupica.
