Jerry Rector hails from St. Louis, Missouri, but his formative years unfolded in the suburbs of Detroit, where he immersed himself in a variety of sports, including water skiing, dirt biking, and scuba diving. His journey took a pivotal turn when he relocated to Los Angeles during high school, embarking on a dual career as both an actor and musician. Jerry's professional path led him beyond Hollywood to vibrant cities such as New York City, Vancouver, and Toronto, where he embraced his Canadian citizenship and ventured into filmmaking as a writer, director, and producer.
Internationally, Jerry has made notable appearances, including a role alongside Jean-Claude Van Damme in "Double Impact" in Hong Kong, and sharing the screen with South Korean star Lee Byung-Hun in "The Man Standing Next." He has been fortunate to collaborate with an impressive array of actors, including Patrick Stewart, Cardi B, Jack Lemmon, Walter Matthau, John Rhys-Davies, Nicolas Cage, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Harvey Keitel, among others.
Beyond acting, Jerry's musical talents shine as a drummer, percussionist, and vocalist. He has had the privilege of performing with iconic musicians such as Chaka Khan, Robbie Krieger of The Doors, and Vinnie Appice of Black Sabbath. One of his most notable collaborations was with Del Casher, the inventor of the "Wah Wah" pedal, further highlighting his diverse artistry in the entertainment industry.
