Paul Cassidy
Paul Cassidy, born Paul Anthony McAllister in Glasgow, Scotland, in 1977, had a formative education at St Anthony's School in the city's south side. After completing his studies, he ventured to Stockholm, where he spent three years working for a music company, gaining valuable experience in the industry. In 2004, upon returning to Glasgow, Paul sought new opportunities and honed his acting skills through one-on-one drama training. His dedication paid off when he auditioned for the stage adaptation of Patricia Highsmith's *The Talented Mr. Ripley*, earning critical acclaim for his performance.
Following this breakthrough, Cassidy expanded his repertoire by participating in various stage productions, as well as film and television projects. In 2011, he took a significant hiatus from the performing arts, focusing on assisting individuals with developmental trauma, a pursuit that ignited a deep passion within him. For five years, he dedicated his efforts to helping others navigate challenges and foster a more positive outlook on life.
Recently, Paul has made a return to acting, collaborating with renowned filmmakers and embracing his dual passions. He reflects on his journey, stating, "I feel more at ease being a performer knowing that in between productions I can embrace another side of reality, working with those less fortunate and doing my best to help them towards a happier life." His commitment to both the arts and humanitarian efforts highlights his multifaceted character.
