David John Stollery, III, born on January 18, 1941, in Los Angeles, California, is a former American child actor who transitioned into a successful career as an industrial designer. Stollery gained fame in the 1950s for his roles in various Disney films and television shows, notably portraying the character "Marty" in the beloved series Spin and Marty, which aired on The Mickey Mouse Club from 1955 to 1957.

Stollery's journey in entertainment began early; at just seven years old, he received the title of "Child Actor of the Year" for his performance in the Broadway play On Borrowed Time. His filmography includes notable works such as A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court (1949) and Where Danger Lives (1950). He further showcased his talent on iconic television programs including I Love Lucy, Dragnet, and The Red Skelton Show. His standout performance in The Ray Milland Show caught Walt Disney's attention, leading to his contract with Disney.

In 2000, Stollery and his Spin and Marty co-star Tim Considine made special appearances in the TV movie, The New Adventures of Spin and Marty: Suspect Behavior. The series was celebrated on its 50th anniversary with a DVD release featuring interviews with the two actors by Leonard Maltin.

Choosing to step away from acting, Stollery pursued a degree in design at the Art Center College of Design and went on to become an automobile designer for General Motors and Toyota, where he was instrumental in developing the second-generation A40 Series Toyota Celica in 1978.
