Colleen Ann Fitzpatrick, born on July 20, 1969, is widely recognized by her stage name, Vitamin C. This multifaceted American artist has made her mark as a singer, songwriter, record producer, dancer, and actress. Fitzpatrick’s entertainment journey began in childhood as a model for Ivory soap and as a child actress, notably appearing in John Waters' cult classic film, Hairspray, in 1988.
In 1991, she co-founded the alternative rock band Eve's Plum, which garnered attention and laid the groundwork for her future solo endeavors. In 1999, she transitioned to a solo career, adopting the name Vitamin C. Her self-titled debut album, released that same year, achieved Platinum status from the RIAA and featured hit singles such as "Graduation (Friends Forever)" and "Smile," the latter reaching the Top 20.
Fitzpatrick's artistic pursuits also extended to film, with appearances in the horror flick Dracula 2000 and comedic roles in Get Over It and Scary Movie 2. In 2004, she showcased her personality as a panelist on the talent competition spoof, Superstar USA, where she was acknowledged as one of Maxim's Hot 100 Women of 2001, ranking at No. 76.
In 2012, she took on a new challenge as Vice President of Music at Nickelodeon, and since early 2019, she has been a music executive at Netflix, further solidifying her influential role in the entertainment industry.
