Jermelle Simon hails from Florence, South Carolina, where he grew up as the son of a shipyard worker and a nurse. Despite his small-town roots, Jermelle always felt a strong calling to achieve greatness, prompting him to relocate to pursue his acting aspirations in Hollywood, California. Raised in a family-oriented environment, he embodies qualities of warmth, politeness, and sociability.

Driven by an unwavering passion for acting, Jermelle committed himself to extensive training, both on-stage and behind the scenes. His impressive portrayal earned him the lead role in Welch's subsequent stage production, "Livin' Ain't Easy, Dying Ain't Beautiful," where he skillfully embodied the character of Hassan Williams, showcasing his versatility in both dramatic and comedic roles. Jermelle's talent continued to shine through in a third collaboration with Don B Welch titled "Walking By Faith," further solidifying his reputation in the theater scene.
