Garmen Tabor, originally Garmen Suurmets, was born on April 19, 1968, in Rakvere, Estonia. She is a prominent figure in the Estonian performing arts, known for her work as both an actress and a theatre director. Tabor completed her studies at the Tallinn State Conservatory's Performing Arts Department in 1992, marking the beginning of her extensive career in theatre.
From 1992 to 2002, she was a vital member of the Estonian Drama Theatre, after which she spent a year at Vanalinnastuudio.
