Will Chase, born on September 12, 1970, in Frankfort, Kentucky, is an accomplished American actor and singer celebrated for his extensive contributions to Broadway musicals. The youngest of three siblings, Chase grew up in a musical family and honed his craft at Western Hills High School before pursuing a degree in Percussion at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, where he also studied conducting under the renowned Robert Spano.

Chase made his Broadway debut in 1998, earning acclaim as the "Squeegee Man" and understudy for "Roger" in the iconic musical Rent. He later took on the role of Roger in the show's final Broadway company, which was captured in the film Rent: Filmed Live on Broadway. His impressive theater repertoire includes notable performances in productions like Miss Saigon, The Full Monty, and Aida, with a standout portrayal of Radames at The Muny in St. Louis in 2006.

In addition to his stage work, Chase has appeared in various television shows, including a recurring role in "Rescue Me" and guest spots on "Law & Order" and "Third Watch." He was featured in the film Shaft (2000) and starred in the short-lived musical The Story of My Life in 2009. More recently, he played Tony in Billy Elliot: The Musical and appeared in Hallmark's "The Lost Valentine."

Chase is a dedicated father of two daughters, Daisy and Gracie, from a previous marriage, and he tied the knot with Stephanie Gibson on November 15, 2009.
