Mankiewicz's *House of Strangers* and John Huston's *We Were Strangers*, both released in 1949. Her talent soon found a platform on television, where she appeared in an episode of the British series *Danger Man* titled "Fair Exchange" alongside Patrick MacGoohan in 1964.
