Clara Vodă

Clara Vodă (née Popescu) is a prominent Romanian actress known for her work in both film and theater. Born on March 8, 1970, in Constanța, Romania, she pursued her passion for the dramatic arts at the University of Theatrical Arts and Cinematography, graduating in 1993. Clara made her cinematic debut in 1992 with a role in the film "Hotel de lux." She garnered attention for her performances in several significant films, including "Senatorul melcilor" (1995), "Eu când vreau să fluier, fluier" (2010), and "Loverboy" (2011).

In addition to her film career, Clara has graced the stages of Bucharest's esteemed theaters, such as Nottara and Bulandra, showcasing her versatility as a performer. Beyond acting, she contributes to the next generation of talent as an acting teacher and director at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in Sydney, Australia.

Clara is married to fellow actor Bogdan Vodă, and together they have a son, Vlad Vodă, further enriching their family life with a shared love for the performing arts.
