Colin Buchanan

Colin Buchanan, born in 1967, was inspired to pursue an acting career by his father, a major in the Royal Marines. He gained significant recognition in 1994 when he landed the role of Hodge in the acclaimed comedy-drama series *Preston Front*. This opportunity marked a pivotal moment in his career, leading him to further success. After *Preston Front* concluded in 1997, Buchanan took on the notable role of Peter Pascoe in the popular detective series *Dalziel and Pascoe*, adapted from the crime novels of Reginald Hill.
