Jennifer Lame, born in 1981 or 1982 in Philadelphia, is a distinguished American film editor celebrated for her impactful contributions to contemporary cinema. Hailing from Narberth, Pennsylvania, she is the daughter of Tony Lame, a notable journalist affiliated with The Philadelphia Inquirer and KYW-TV. Lame completed her education at Episcopal Academy before graduating from Wesleyan University in 2004.

Her editing career commenced with the film Price Check, but she gained widespread recognition as a key collaborator with director Noah Baumbach. Her notable works with Baumbach include critically acclaimed films such as Frances Ha, While We’re Young, Mistress America, The Meyerowitz Stories, and Marriage Story.
