Daniel Beretta

Daniel Beretta, born on December 24, 1946, in Audincourt, Doubs, is a prominent French actor renowned for his distinctive voice. Since 1987, he has been the official French voice of Arnold Schwarzenegger, lending his talent to all of the action star's films.

Beretta's artistic journey began early; he started piano lessons at the tender age of three. As he grew older, he honed his craft by attending theater classes in Montbéliard. His acting career took off in 1966 with his debut in the play "Copain Clopants." It was during this performance that he caught the eye of actress Catherine Allégret, who subsequently introduced him to director Marcel Camus. This connection led to Beretta's first film appearance in "A Savage Summer."

Throughout his career, Beretta has showcased his versatility, starring in acclaimed theatrical productions such as "Jesus Christ Superstar" and "The Umbrellas of Cherbourg." In addition to his stage work, he has made a name for himself in voice acting, currently providing voiceovers for program trailers on the French channel 'Sci Fi.' Between 2000 and 2008, he served as the station voice for the national adult contemporary radio station RFM, further solidifying his status in the realm of French entertainment.
