Madelyn Deutch

Madelyn Deutch is a talented actress and musician hailing from Los Angeles, California. She embarked on her musical journey at just 10 years old, performing Broadway duets alongside renowned figures like Dick Van Dyke and Wayne Brady, as well as with the casts of iconic shows such as *Frasier* and *Seinfeld*. Her artistic prowess flourished during her time at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, where she gained national recognition as a singer. Madelyn was selected for the prestigious Grammy Ensemble and attended the Brubeck Summer Colony.

Her achievements include a standout performance at the 50th Anniversary of the Monterey Jazz Festival, where she received the Outstanding Soloist Award from Downbeat Magazine. Additionally, she was honored with the Silver Award from the National Foundation for the Advancement of the Arts and secured a scholarship to the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music. Upon graduating high school, she showcased her talents at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. during the Presidential Scholars ceremony.

In the summer of 2009, Madelyn made her film debut in *Mayor Cupcake*, sharing the screen with Judd Nelson and Lea Thompson, and contributed three original songs to the project. She graduated from the New School with honors in May 2011 and continues to thrive in her career, acting and performing with her indie-rock band, Maddie and the Bad Hats, while living in Los Angeles.
