Donald Pitts
Donald Pitts is a versatile actor with a rich background in classical training, known for portraying a wide range of characters including the Duchess in 'Alice in Wonderland' and the renowned lawyer Clarence Darrow. His journey into theater began at Bryan Adams High School in Dallas, TX, where he discovered his passion for acting. He further honed his craft at Southern Methodist University's Meadows School of Fine Arts, where he earned a full scholarship. While at SMU, he participated in various productions, taking on both supporting and leading roles in plays such as Bertolt Brecht's 'A Man’s Man' and Peter Shaffer's 'The Royal Hunt of The Sun'.
After a successful career in law, Donald shifted his focus back to the performing arts, engaging in film, television, commercials, radio, music videos, and voice-overs. Recently, he has appeared in numerous short films and festival productions, including roles such as Sir William Geoffrey in 'Project Hollywood', Virgil in 'The Secret We Keep', Antonio in 'Misfit’s Prick', Grandpa Art in 'Sunsprite', and The Agent in the comedy pilot 'The Runners', where he also contributed as a co-producer and set designer.
Located in Topanga, California, Donald is known for his infectious enthusiasm and commitment to his craft. Outside of acting, he enjoys making music, cooking, painting, and supporting animal rescue initiatives.
