Delilah Gates

Delilah Gates is currently pursuing her graduate studies in the Physics Department at Harvard University. Prior to her tenure at Harvard, she completed dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Physics and Mathematics at the University of Maryland, College Park. Her research focuses on high-spin black holes and the nature of gravity, where she is engaged in analytically exploring the observational characteristics of nearly extremal Kerr black holes through the lens of emergent near-horizon conformal symmetry.

Delilah's scholarly interests encompass various aspects of black hole physics, including the geometries of (near) extremal black holes, the dynamics of black hole binaries, the AdS/CFT correspondence, and the intricacies of black hole entropy. Throughout her academic journey, she has demonstrated a profound commitment to understanding the complexities of gravitational phenomena and their implications for theoretical physics.
