Suman Talwar is an accomplished Indian film actor, primarily recognized for his contributions to Telugu cinema. He gained immense popularity during the 1980s and established himself as one of the key figures in the industry. Throughout his career, Suman has portrayed various divine characters, including Venkateswara, Shiva, and Rama, within Telugu films. In addition to his work in Telugu, he has appeared in Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada films, and he took on the iconic role of Pazhayamveedan Chandhu Nambiar in the biographical film Pazhassi Raja.

His acting journey began when he portrayed a police officer in the Tamil film Neechal Kulam (1977), produced by T.R. Rammanna. He further showcased his talent in the 1981 film Thee, once again playing a dedicated police officer. Over the span of more than 30 years, Suman has featured in over 150 films across Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Odia, and English languages. He made a notable return to the film scene by taking on villainous roles in Tamil movies like Sivaji and Kuruvi, and he was the lead antagonist in the Malayalam film Sagar alias Jacky. His performance in the film Bava Bavamaridi earned him the prestigious Nandi Award for Best Actor. Additionally, Suman has appeared in the Hollywood film Death And Taxis.
