Julien Doré, born on July 7, 1982, in Alès, France, is a multifaceted artist known for his talents as a singer-songwriter, musician, and actor. He rose to fame as the champion of the fifth season of "Nouvelle Star," a popular French music competition broadcast on M6. Notably, he is also the great-great-grandson of Gustave Doré, a renowned 19th-century illustrator.

Doré spent his formative years in Lunel and pursued a literary baccalauréat at Louis Feuillade College before studying at the École des Beaux-Arts in Nîmes for five years. He initially showcased his musical prowess through the band Dig up Elvis and later co-founded the eclectic group "The Jean d'Ormesson Disco Suicide," which offered unique renditions of pop and disco classics.
