Kevin Wade

Kevin Wade, born on March 9, 1954, in Chappaqua, New York, is a distinguished American screenwriter and television producer. He graduated from Connecticut College and began his career in theater with the off-Broadway play "Key Exchange," which premiered in 1981.

Wade made a significant leap into film writing in 1988 with his first screen credit for "Working Girl." This work garnered him nominations for both the Golden Globe Award for Best Screenplay and the Writers Guild of America Award for Best Original Screenplay, marking a strong start in his cinematic journey. His filmography further includes notable titles such as "True Colors," "Mr. Baseball," "Junior," "Meet Joe Black," and "Maid in Manhattan," showcasing his versatility across genres.
