Yu Aoi
Yu Aoi (蒼井優), born on August 17, 1985, is a renowned Japanese actress and model. Her cinematic journey began with her role as Shiori Tsuda in Shunji Iwai's 2001 film, All About Lily Chou-Chou. Aoi gained further acclaim for her portrayal of Tetsuko Arisugawa in the 2004 film Hana and Alice, also directed by Iwai. She showcased her versatility in the 2006 hula dancing film Hula Girls, playing Kimiko Tanigawa, and captured audiences with her performance as Hagumi Hanamoto in the live-action adaptation of the beloved manga series, Honey and Clover.
