Kate Nash
Kate Marie Nash, born on July 6, 1987, is a multifaceted English artist known for her work as a singer, songwriter, musician, and actress. She gained widespread recognition in the UK with her breakthrough single, "Foundations," released in 2007. Her debut album, *Made of Bricks*, soared to the top of the UK charts, achieving the number 1 spot and reaching number 36 in the United States. Nash's talent was further acknowledged when she received the Best British Female Artist award at the Brit Awards in 2008.
In 2010, she followed up with her second studio album, *My Best Friend Is You*, which also enjoyed commercial success, breaking into the top 10 in both the UK and Germany. The album's lead single, "Do-Wah-Doo," became another hit, securing the 15th spot on the UK charts and marking her fourth entry in the UK Top 40.
After parting ways with her record label, Nash took the independent route, self-releasing her third studio album, *Girl Talk*, on March 4, 2013. While it did not achieve the same level of commercial success as her earlier works, it still charted within the top 100 in several countries, including the UK, Ireland, Germany, and Austria.
In a new chapter of her career, Nash launched a Kickstarter campaign in April 2017 to support her fourth studio album. On April 21, 2017, she released a four-track EP titled *Agenda*, showcasing her enduring creativity and passion for music.
