Duncan Fraser
Duncan Fraser is a British-born Canadian actor renowned for his significant contributions to film and television. One of his most notable performances was in the 1985 film *Overnight*, which earned him a nomination for Best Supporting Actor at the 7th Genie Awards in 1986. Additionally, Fraser gained recognition for his compelling portrayal of Staff Sgt. Regan in the acclaimed series *Da Vinci's Inquest*, leading to a Gemini Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series at the 15th Gemini Awards in 2000.
Fraser was born in Manchester, England, and initially set out to pursue a degree in aeronautical engineering at London University. However, he later transitioned to studying psychology, finding engineering to be overly technical for his taste. After completing his education, he embarked on a globetrotting adventure before settling in the Vancouver area in 1974, where he launched his acting career. Fraser dedicated several years to the Nanaimo Theatre Festival as its director and also served as the associate director of Vancouver's Fend Players theatre company.
In addition to his film work, Fraser has appeared in various television roles, including Zack Denny in *Bordertown*, Mac McDougall in *The Heights*, Colonel Munro in *Hawkeye*, and Brian Brewster in *Hope Island*.
