Born as Susan Athena Simpson on November 16, 1968, in Athens, Greece, Suzi Simpson grew up in a family that often moved due to her father's career as a Navy officer and her mother's role as a flight attendant. The eldest of four siblings, which includes two brothers and a sister, Suzi has lived in various coastal regions, including Maine, Florida, and California. Raised in the Roman Catholic faith, she attended the prestigious all-girls St. Mary's Academy.
Simpson's early accolades include being crowned Homecoming Queen at the Virginia Military Institute in 1983, followed by her triumph as the winner of the Miss District of Columbia Teen USA Pageant in 1984. Initially, she ventured into modeling to finance her dental school aspirations. Her modeling career took off when she appeared in a memorable Pepsi commercial alongside Michael Jackson and featured in Aerosmith's music video for "Love in an Elevator."
In January 1992, Suzi gained further fame as the Playmate of the Month in "Playboy," leading to appearances in several of the magazine's videos. Her most notable film role came as federal agent Becky Midnite in the straight-to-video action movie "Enemy Gold."
