Shaun Gayle
Shaun Lanard Gayle (born March 8, 1962) is a retired American football player renowned for his tenure as a defensive back in the National Football League (NFL). Gayle spent a remarkable twelve seasons in professional football, primarily with the Chicago Bears from 1984 to 1994, before concluding his career with the San Diego Chargers in 1995. A standout athlete at Ohio State University, he was selected by the Bears in the tenth round of the 1984 NFL Draft.
Gayle was an integral part of the Bears' roster that triumphed in Super Bowl XX in 1985, contributing to one of the most celebrated seasons in NFL history. He gained fame not only for his defensive prowess but also for his role in the iconic "Shuffling Crew," featured in the music video for "The Super Bowl Shuffle."
