Marc Vann

Marc Vann, born on August 23, 1954, is a talented American actor widely recognized for his portrayal of Conrad Ecklie in the popular CBS series, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. He has also made significant contributions to television with notable roles in shows like Angel and Early Edition.

Originally hailing from Norfolk, Virginia, Vann's journey into acting began unexpectedly. Initially focused on his MBA studies, he discovered his passion for performance through a mime workshop, which led him to engage in local theater. His early career flourished in the vibrant Chicago theater scene, where he made a memorable impact at Wisdom Bridge Theatre and Center Theatre. One of his standout performances was in the production of "The Great Gatsby," which featured Harry Lennix in a race/color blind cast as Gatsby.

On February 28, 2008, Vann achieved a remarkable milestone by guest-starring in two consecutive episodes of different ABC series. He first appeared as a ship's doctor in the cult classic Lost, followed by his role as an automotive worker in Eli Stone, who gets bribed to relocate to Hawaii. More recently, he featured in a humorous "Skittles" commercial as a doctor and made an appearance in two episodes of Torchwood: Miracle Day as camp manager Colin Maloney in 2011.
