Sean Michael Leonard Anderson, widely recognized as Big Sean, was born on March 25, 1988, and has made a significant mark in the American hip-hop scene. His journey began in his teenage years when he crossed paths with Kanye West, leading to a contract with West's GOOD Music label in 2007, a subsidiary of Def Jam Recordings.

Big Sean's rise to fame was propelled by his third mixtape, *Finally Famous Vol. 3: Big*, released in 2010. His debut studio album, *Finally Famous* (2011), followed by *Hall of Fame* (2013), both peaked at number three on the Billboard 200 chart. Notable singles from these albums include "My Last" featuring Chris Brown, "Marvin & Chardonnay" with Kanye West and Roscoe Dash, and "Beware" featuring Lil Wayne and Jhené Aiko.

His third album, *Dark Sky Paradise* (2015), marked a career high as it debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. The standout single "I Don't Fuck with You," featuring E-40, achieved octuple platinum status and helped solidify his presence in the industry. Subsequent albums, *I Decided* (2017) and *Detroit 2* (2020), also debuted at the top of the charts, with "Bounce Back" from *I Decided* reaching number six on the Billboard Hot 100, his highest-charting single to date. In 2021, Big Sean parted ways with GOOD Music, and his latest release, *Better Me Than You* (2024), entered the Billboard 200 at number 25, receiving mixed reviews.
