Annabella Incontrera
Annabella Incontrera (June 11, 1943 – September 19, 2004), also known as Pam Stevenson, was a well-regarded Italian actress recognized for her contributions to film and television. Hailing from Milan, she briefly studied at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia before embarking on her acting career. In 1959, at the tender age of 16, Incontrera made her film debut in "Love Now, Pay Later" (L'inferno addosso) and went on to feature in approximately 40 films, often in supporting roles.
In 1969, she entered into marriage with Guglielmo Biraghi, a film critic for Il Messaggero, though their union was short-lived. In the 1970s, she gained public attention for her relationship with Geoffrey Robinson, a prominent British Labour Party politician and businessman, who was known for his role in the Italian division of British Leyland. He reportedly introduced her to his associates as 'Signora Robinson'.
Despite facing significant health challenges, including a severe case of osteoporosis that resulted in her reliance on a wheelchair, Incontrera continued to leave her mark in the entertainment industry. Her resilience and talent have left a lasting impression on the cinematic landscape, showcasing her enduring spirit amidst personal struggles.
