Dev Patel, born on April 23, 1990, is a prominent British actor known for his dynamic performances across film and television. He launched his career with a significant role as Anwar Kharral in the E4 teen drama series, Skins, in 2007, which set the stage for his future successes. His major breakthrough arrived in 2008 when he portrayed Jamal Malik in the critically acclaimed film Slumdog Millionaire, directed by Danny Boyle.
