Jonathan David Reep, born on March 26, 1972, is a celebrated American comedian and actor. He discovered his passion for stand-up comedy while studying at North Carolina State University, where he performed at Goodnights comedy club. Reep graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts in Theater, Mass Communication, and Public & Personal Communication.

Following his graduation, he began working at UNC-TV, where he served as the assistant director for programs such as "North Carolina Now" and "Legislative Week in Review." During this time, he continued to refine his comedic talents at night. In 1998, he made the bold decision to pursue comedy full-time, touring comedy clubs and colleges across the United States. His big break came in 2000 when he was invited to showcase his talent at the prestigious Montreal Just for Laughs festival, which ultimately led him to relocate to Los Angeles.

Reep's acting credits include memorable roles such as Raymus, the pot-smoking farmer in "Harold and Kumar: Escape from Guantanamo Bay," and Gerald Bob, the dim-witted cop on the ABC sitcom "Rodney." He also appeared as a goodwill worker in Disney Channel's "Good Luck Charlie" and was widely recognized as the HEMI guy in Dodge Truck commercials.

As a stand-up comedian, Reep gained national acclaim as the winner of NBC's "Last Comic Standing," season 5. His extensive television appearances include performances on Comedy Central's "Premium Blend," "Comedy Central Presents: Jon Reep," and his specials "Jon Reep: Metro Jethro" and "Jon Reep: Ginger Beard Man."
