Elena Panova
Elena Panova hails from a creatively rich family; her father served as a theater director and was the artistic leader of the Arkhangelsk Regional Youth Theatre, while her mother taught piano at Arkhangelsk Pedagogical College. With an older sister already pursuing a career in acting, it was perhaps inevitable that Elena would follow suit. She graduated from the prestigious Moscow Art Theater School in 1999 and promptly became a member of the theater company.
Elena made her on-screen debut in 1997 with the film "Christmas Story," marking the beginning of a fruitful acting career. Her talent quickly garnered attention, leading her to star in the Swiss film "Berezina, or The Last Days of Switzerland" directed by Daniel Schmid in 1999. However, it was her compelling performances in popular television series and films that truly elevated her status. She gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Galina in the acclaimed series "Border. Taiga Romance," created by A. Mitta, and for her role as Vicky in the film "Shadow Boxing," directed by A. Sidorov. Through her diverse roles, Elena Panova has established herself as a notable figure in the Russian film and theater scene.
