Philip McKeon

Philip Anthony McKeon (November 11, 1964 – December 10, 2019) was a prominent American actor, best remembered for his portrayal of Tommy Hyatt on the beloved sitcom *Alice*, which aired from 1976 to 1985. The son of the titular character, Tommy became a recognizable figure in American television. Philip's sister, Nancy McKeon, also enjoyed a successful acting career.

McKeon's journey in the entertainment industry began at the tender age of four. Accompanied by his mother and sister, he attended a modeling audition, leading to his early work as a child model where he appeared in various magazines, newspapers, and commercials. His talent soon caught the eye of Linda Lavin, the star of *Alice*, during a Broadway show, where she recognized his potential and recommended him for the role of Tommy.
