Kent Lipham
Kent Lipham, born in 1961 to parents Jimmy and Nancy Lipham, grew up alongside his younger brother Jamie. At the age of sixteen, concerned about his social withdrawal, his mother encouraged him to participate in an extracurricular activity. Lacking athletic prowess or crafty skills, he gravitated toward the drama club, where he discovered a passion for performance. The excitement of the stage captivated him, leading him to declare to his mother, "I'm going to be an actor, and it’s all your fault!"
After completing his education at Talladega High School in 1980, Kent embarked on a journey to further his artistic ambitions at the University of Montevallo, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Arts in 1984. Throughout his studies, he developed a particular fondness for puppetry and ballet, with modern jazz dancing also sparking his interest.
Following his graduation, Kent ventured to Hollywood, where he appeared in four feature films during the 1980s and early 1990s, marking the beginning of his acting career. Though his time in the limelight was brief, he left an indelible mark on those who witnessed his performances. Tragically, Kent Lipham passed away in 2008 after a short illness, but his legacy in the world of theater and film endures.
