Barnyashev's wrestling journey began in 2010 when he signed with WWE, making history as the first Bulgarian wrestler to join the organization. Initially, he was placed in Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW), which transitioned to NXT in 2012, WWE's developmental league. Over several years, he honed his skills in NXT before being promoted to WWE's main roster in 2014 alongside his manager, Lana.
