Mikayla LaShae Bartholomew
Mikayla LaShae Bartholomew is a talented American actress recognized for her impactful performances on both stage and screen. She gained significant acclaim for her roles in the Oscar-winning film "King Richard," the NAACP Image Award-winning "Dear Mama," and the critically celebrated Sundance film "Grace." Currently, she is set to star in a new series being developed by Jon Bernthal for HBO.
Bartholomew earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in theatre performance from Virginia Commonwealth University, where she also pursued minors in pre-nursing, as well as gender, sexuality, and women's studies. Her dedication to the arts and activism earned her a Special Tony Award in 2020 for her collaboration with the Broadway Advocacy Coalition. She also serves as an Artist Ambassador for the New York Civil Liberties Union.
Her extensive stage credits include notable productions such as "The Salvagers" (World Premiere), "Angry, Raucous and Shamelessly Gorgeous," and "The Niceties," which garnered her a RTCC Award.
