Francesco Quinn
Francesco Daniele Quinn (March 22, 1963 – August 5, 2011) was an American actor of Italian heritage. He was the eldest son of Oscar-winning actor Anthony Quinn and his second wife, Iolanda Addolori. Francesco gained significant recognition for his pivotal performance as Rhah in the acclaimed film Platoon, directed by Oliver Stone, which won several Academy Awards in 1986. Prior to his success in film, he made his mark in television with a prominent role in the 1985 miniseries Quo Vadis?, which aired during prime time.
In his later career, he lent his voice to the character Autobot Dino, also known as Mirage, in the film Transformers: Dark of the Moon, which marked his final acting contribution. Francesco Quinn's talent and lineage in the world of acting left a lasting impact on the industry, continuing the legacy of his renowned father.
He passed away on August 5, 2011, but his work remains a testament to his skills and the artistic heritage he inherited from his famous family.
