Brian May

Brian Harold May, born on July 19, 1947, is a multifaceted English musician, songwriter, record producer, and astrophysicist, best known as the iconic lead guitarist of the legendary rock band Queen. Co-founding the group alongside the charismatic frontman Freddie Mercury and drummer Roger Taylor, May's musical journey began with his prior involvement in the band Smile, where he collaborated with Taylor. The addition of bassist John Deacon completed the classic Queen lineup.

Renowned for his exceptional guitar skills, May has carved out a unique musical identity characterized by his innovative layered guitar techniques and the use of his custom-made electric guitar, famously known as the Red Special.
