Tom Scharpling
Thomas John Giuliano II, born on February 9, 1969, and better known as Tom Scharpling, is a multifaceted American entertainer recognized for his contributions to comedy, television, and music. He gained widespread acclaim as the host of the popular internet radio call-in comedy show, The Best Show with Tom Scharpling, previously known as The Best Show on WFMU. His distinctive voice brought life to Greg Universe in the beloved animated series Steven Universe and its sequel, Steven Universe Future.
In addition to his voice acting, Scharpling made significant contributions as a writer and executive producer for the acclaimed television series Monk. His comedic talents were also showcased in his writing for shows like Tom Goes to the Mayor and Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!
Scharpling's collaboration with comedy partner Jon Wurster resulted in the release of six albums under the name Scharpling & Wurster, beginning in 1999. His written work has been featured in prominent publications, including GQ, New York Magazine, and Harp.
