Michelle Duncan

Michelle Duncan, born on April 14, 1978, in Perth, Scotland, is a talented actress recognized for her compelling performances across film and television. She gained acclaim for her role in the TV series *Sea of Souls*, earning a BAFTA Scotland Award nomination.

Duncan honed her craft at Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, where she studied acting, and later pursued English and Classics at St Andrews University. In February 2005, she relocated to London to further her career in the performing arts.

Her television credits are diverse, including notable appearances in *Sugar Rush*, *Doctor Who*, *Low Winter Sun*, and *Lost in Austen*. One of her standout performances was portraying Princess Diana in the television film *Whatever Love Means*. Duncan's filmography features significant roles in acclaimed movies such as *Atonement*, *The Broken*, and *Driving Lessons*. Additionally, she co-starred in the award-winning short film *Sucking Is A Fine Quality In Women And Vacuum Cleaners* in 2006.

On stage, she has showcased her talent in various productions, including *Time and the Conways* on a UK tour, as well as *A Midsummer Night's Dream* and *The Burning* at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. In 2007, she was cast as Portia in *The Merchant of Venice* at Shakespeare's Globe but had to withdraw after previews.

Currently, Duncan serves as a Drama and English teacher at Forest School in Snaresbrook, where she also takes on the role of form tutor for Franklin House.
