Following her time in private practice, Bernard-Requin ascended to significant prosecutorial positions, serving as procureur général in Rouen, Nanterre, and ultimately Paris. In 2003, she was appointed as a Councillor for the Court of Appeal of Paris, a role she held until 2007. Notably, in 2006, she presided over the Cour d'assises in Paris, showcasing her leadership within the judicial system.
