Jen Kuo Sung, originally from Taiwan, spent his formative years captivated by martial arts, particularly inspired by the legendary Bruce Lee. His passion ignited after sneaking into a theater to watch Lee's iconic film, The Big Boss. At the age of 13, Jen and his mother relocated to Florida, where he embraced a diverse high school environment. Here, he shared his enthusiasm for kung fu with fellow students and thrived in athletics, ultimately earning a college football scholarship.

Leveraging his athletic prowess and martial arts expertise, Jen ventured into acting in Florida's film scene, where he quickly garnered attention. His talent caught the eye of producer Ng See Yuen, known for discovering Jackie Chan, who encouraged him to pursue opportunities in Los Angeles. Since then, Jen has built a successful career as both an actor and action director, becoming recognized for his compelling character performances.

In his personal life, Jen is married to actress and writer Lydia Look, with whom he collaborates frequently in front of the camera and in voiceover projects.
