He is a prominent American rapper, songwriter, and music producer who gained fame with his breakout 2007 hit "Crank That (Soulja Boy)." This track became a cultural phenomenon, reigning at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 for seven consecutive weeks. Following its initial success, the song was re-released under Collipark Music and Interscope Records, paving the way for his debut album, Souljaboytellem.com, which peaked at number four on the Billboard 200 despite mixed reviews. The album also featured the single "Yahhh!"
