Raoul Bova
Raoul Bova, an Italian actor born on August 14, 1971, hails from Rome, where he grew up in a family of Calabrian descent. As a teenager, Bova distinguished himself as a local champion in the 100-meter backstroke, showcasing his athletic prowess. At the age of 21, he served in the Italian Army, specifically in the elite Bersaglieri corps, known for their sharpshooting skills. Although he initially enrolled at the Italian Institute of Physical Education (ISEF), he shifted his focus to acting, studying at the Beatrice Bracco school in Rome, and honing his craft under the guidance of Michael Margotta.
In March 2000, Bova married Chiara Giordano, and together they welcomed three children: Alessandro Leon, Francesco, and Sophia.
