Beatrice Alda

Beatrice Alda is an accomplished American actress and filmmaker, known for her performances in notable works such as *The Four Seasons* and *Men of Respect*. She is the daughter of revered actor Alan Alda and talented author and photographer Arlene Weiss, and she shares her artistic lineage with her sisters, Eve and actress Elizabeth Alda. Beatrice is married to filmmaker Jennifer Brooke, with whom she has four children.

In 1981, Beatrice made her mark in the film industry by portraying Lisa in *The Four Seasons*, a project helmed by her father. She reprised this role in the subsequent television adaptation of the same name in 1984. Additionally, she played the character Judy in the 1988 film *A New Life*, once again sharing the screen with her father, who played her on-screen father.

Beyond acting, Beatrice has made significant contributions as a filmmaker. In 2008, she co-directed and produced the documentary *Out Late*, which explores the experiences of individuals who came out as gay, lesbian, and transgender during their senior years.
