Johnny Mathis is an iconic American vocalist renowned for his contributions to popular music, with an impressive catalog that has seen numerous albums earn gold and platinum certifications. With over 73 entries on the Billboard charts and record sales exceeding 360 million worldwide, he is recognized as the third best-selling artist of the 20th century, following only Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra, as noted by music historian Paul Gambaccini.
