Taapsee Pannu
Taapsee Pannu is a prominent Indian actress and model, primarily recognized for her contributions to the South Indian film industry, while also making her mark in Bollywood. Before embarking on her acting journey, Taapsee had a career in software engineering and participated in modeling. During her time in modeling, she featured in various advertisements and earned accolades including "Pantaloons Femina Miss Fresh Face" and "Safi Femina Miss Beautiful Skin" in 2008.
In 2010, Taapsee transitioned to acting, making her debut in the Telugu film Jhummandi Naadam, directed by Raghavendra Rao. Since then, she has garnered praise for her roles in several acclaimed films, including Aadukalam, Vastadu Naa Raju, and Mr. Perfect. Notably, her Tamil film Aadukalam received six National Film Awards at the 58th National Film Awards. Taapsee has also expanded her repertoire with a Malayalam film and has been signed for three Telugu films along with a Hindi project. For her outstanding performance in the Tamil film Arrambam (2013), she received the Most Enthusiastic Performer-Female Award at the 2014 Edison Awards. In 2015, she starred in the successful film Baby, which was both critically and commercially well-received.
