Lara Taillon

Lara Taillon is a multifaceted Canadian talent hailing from the small city of Estevan, Saskatchewan. She has made her mark as an actress, singer, dancer, writer, and producer. Growing up in a family with an accountant father and a stay-at-home mother, Lara developed a passion for the performing arts at an early age. She dedicated years to various dance forms, including ballet, tap, and jazz, and even took on roles as a teacher and choreographer.

After completing high school, Lara initially pursued a degree in physical training and development but soon shifted her focus to the performing arts. Her breakthrough came with her role in Ron Ror's "Prairie Lilies," prompting her to leave college and fully embrace a career in film and theatre.

Lara has toured extensively across Canada, performing in numerous stage plays, musicals, and bands, while also imparting her knowledge by teaching voice, piano, dance, and drama throughout the prairie provinces. Her film and television work spans from Vancouver to Los Angeles, featuring roles in projects such as Neil Johnson's "STARSHIP: Rising" and its sequel, as well as appearances in popular shows like "Corner Gas" and "Model Citizen" alongside Angie Everhart. As of 2012, Lara divides her time between Calgary, Alberta, and Los Angeles, California, continuing to enrich the arts with her diverse talents.
