Kyoko Tongu
Kyōko Miyagi (宮城 恭子), widely recognized by her stage name Kyōko Tongū (頓宮 恭子), was born on October 11, 1955, in Okayama, Japan. She is a well-known Japanese voice actress whose career has spanned several decades.
In 1992, Kyōko took a hiatus from her voice acting career when her husband was relocated to Milan, Italy. However, she made her return to Japan and the voice acting scene towards the end of the 1990s, focusing primarily on dubbing for foreign films and television series. Among her notable works in anime, Kyōko is celebrated for her roles as Kei in the beloved series Dirty Pair and Nakamura in Black Magic M-66. Before her temporary retirement, she voiced the character Kikunosuke Abashiri in the show Abashiri Family, which marked her last regular role at that time.
Currently, she continues to be active in the industry, represented by Aoni Production. Kyōko Tongū remains a respected figure in voice acting, contributing her talents to various projects, including her recent work on Mermaid Forest and Star Fox: Assault. Her enduring presence in the field showcases her dedication and passion for the art of voice acting.
