Melissa Hunter
Melissa Hunter is a multifaceted talent known for her work as a writer, actor, and producer, even if she finds writing bios in the third person a bit frustrating. Over the past two seasons, she contributed her writing skills to the popular Netflix series “Santa Clarita Diet.” Her previous work on the NBC variety sketch show “Maya & Marty,” featuring Maya Rudolph and Martin Short, garnered her a nomination for a Writers Guild of America Award.
Currently, Melissa is working on an animated series for TBS titled “Close Enough.” She has also taken on significant roles as an executive producer, writer, and actress in pilots such as NBC's “Wolfgirl” and TruTV's “Small Victories,” along with co-writing a pilot for TBS called “Basic.”
