Charles Coan
Charles Coan's journey into the world of acting began through his passion for living history and re-enactment, particularly focusing on the Revolutionary War for over three decades. His dedication led to his participation in the 2007 History Channel series "Saving History," where he vividly portrayed a boisterous gang member in a reenactment of the Boston Massacre.
In addition to his acting, Coan played a significant role in a documentary about Deborah Sampson, an inspiring woman who disguised herself as a man to fight in the Revolutionary War in 1782. Not only did he perform in the documentary, but he also contributed by crafting many of the props and costumes, showcasing his versatility and commitment to authenticity.
His experience as a British redcoat re-enactor landed him a role as a British soldier in Hulu's psychological horror series "Castle Rock" in 2018. Eager to expand his acting repertoire, Coan sought out additional opportunities and was cast as a fundraiser guest in the NBC pilot "Suspicion," which has yet to be released.
Although Charles Coan is at the early stages of his acting career, his enthusiasm and dedication to his craft indicate a promising future in the industry, and he aspires to continue pursuing acting for many years to come.
