TJ O'Grady-Peyton

TJ O'Grady-Peyton emerged as a prominent figure in the film industry in 2013 when he earned a spot on the shortlist for the Young Director Awards at Cannes, shortly after completing his MA in filmmaking at the London Film School. His diverse body of work includes directing commercials for major brands such as Under Armour, UEFA, Asics, Volkswagen, BMW, and the European Union, showcasing his global reach and versatility.

Hailing from Dublin, TJ received the Discovery Award from the Dublin Film Festival, further solidifying his reputation in the cinematic community. His acclaimed short film "Wave," in which he also acted, garnered significant attention after winning the Irish Film and Television Award for Best Short. The film was showcased at an impressive 75 festivals worldwide, including prestigious events like BFI, Melbourne, Aspen, and Clermont-Ferrand, following its world premiere at Tribeca in 2017.

In 2020, TJ became a member of the Director's Guild of America, marking another milestone in his career. His most recent project, "Silence," premiered at Tribeca in 2021, earning him the Bingham Ray New Talent Award at the Galway Film Fleadh. Additionally, "Silence" received a nomination for an Irish Film and Television Award in 2022, further highlighting his talent and contributions to the film industry.
